APC Cardiovascular achieves B Corp™ certification

We have some exciting news to share – we’ve officially achieved B CorpTM certification!

B Corp is a non-profit network dedicated to transforming the global economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet.

Its certifications are awarded to businesses that meet high standards of verified performance, accountability, and transparency on a range of factors, including employee benefits, charitable giving, supply chain practices and input materials.

Based on the B Impact Assessment, APC Cardiovascular earned an impressive overall score of 97.5. The median score for ordinary businesses who complete the assessment is currently 50.9, and only businesses with a score of at least 80 qualify for B Corp Certification.

APC Cardiovascular CEO, Stephen Law-Lyons, welcomed the certification. He said: “I am immensely proud that we are the only UK medical supplies company to achieve B Corp certification. By partnering with a certified B Corporation such as APC Cardiovascular, you can be assured that your environmental, social and governance goals are being supported.”

Our journey towards B Corp certification involved a comprehensive evaluation of our social and environmental practices.

In addition to meeting strict certification requirements, APC Cardiovascular has made a legal commitment to uphold the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring accountability to all stakeholders, not just shareholders.

As a B Corp certified company, APC Cardiovascular joins a global community of businesses committed to using their influence for good.
