The Products

Move 4

The Move 4 follows on from the Move 3 as the most precise sensor for the measurement of physical activity. Performing complex calculations and making a detailed analysis of movement and behaviour parameters has never been simpler. Through the continuous recording of up to 4 weeks of data (3D Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Barometric Air Pressure, and Temperature), the Move 4 offers a rich treasure trove of data for further analysis.

Combined with our Analysis-Software DataAnalyzer allows the simple calculation of parameters such as Activity Class, Body Position, Steps, Energy Expenditure and Metabolic Equivalent of Task (MET) in a selectable output interval.

Whilst recording the raw data stream, the sensor can also analyse certain parameters live on the sensor and transmit the results via Bluetooth smart interface, e.g. to a smartphone. The sensor is optimized for use in scientific studies and interactive ambulatory assessment. The new carrying systems offer you great flexibility in use and high wearing comfort for the study participant. This leads to improved compliance, higher data quality and thus reduced effort in carrying out a study and lower costs.

Lightmove4

As part of the new sensor generation, the LightMove 4 activity sensor combines the previous benefits of the proven LightMove 3 with the 4th generation enhancements, allowing us to address a wide range of researchers needs, implement their requests, and further enhance the quality of the sensors. Thus, the LightMove 4 strengthens its position as the go to device for researchers who care about high quality data.

The LightMove 4 adds five channels of light detection to the renown physical activity measurement capabilities of the Move 4. This combination enables a more detailed analysis and understanding of participant behaviour in the context of daily living. The high sensitivity of the light sensor enables the recording of even the most subtle levels of lighting.

The sensor records a whole suite of measurement signals (5 Channels of light detection, 3D-Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Air Pressure and Temperature) for up to 4 weeks, providing a rich source of data for further analysis. The LightMove 4 can also calculate secondary parameters on board the sensor, and transmit the calculated results via Bluetooth Smart.

Our DataAnalyzer software enables the easy calculation of a multitude of secondary parameters from the raw data captured by the sensor. Parameters such as illuminance (lux), Brightness (from darkness to sunlight), Colour Temperature, Activity Class, Steps, Energy Expenditure und Metabolic Equivalent of Task (MET) are available, in addition to a suite of sleep parameters.

The LightMove 4 opens new possibilities for researchers who understand the interplay between light and physical activity, allowing their research to expand and contribute to this growing body of knowledge.

ECGMove4

As part of the new sensor generation, the EcgMove 4 activity sensor combines the previous benefits of the proven EcgMove 3 with the 4th generation enhancements, allowing us to address a wide range of researchers’ needs, implement their requests, and further enhance the quality of the sensors. Thus, the EcgMove 4 strengthens its position as the go to device for researchers who care about high quality ECG and Activity data.

The EcgMove 4 follows on from the EcgMove 3 as the most precise sensor for the measurement of ECG combined with physical activity. Capable of long-term ambulatory recordings without the inconvenience of cables. Through the parallel recording of the ECG and Activity Signals (ECG, 3D Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Barometric Air Pressure, and Temperature), the EcgMove 4 offers a rich treasure trove of data for the detailed analysis of the functioning of the heart, the autonomic nervous system, and additionally behaviour and activity. Whilst recording the raw data stream, the sensor can also analyse certain parameters live on the sensor and transmit the results via Bluetooth smart interface, e.g. to a smartphone.

The sensor is optimized for use in scientific studies and interactive ambulatory assessment. The new attachment systems offer you great flexibility in use and a high wearing comfort for the study participant, with the choice of adhesive electrodes or our acclaimed dry electrode textile chest belt. This leads to improved compliance, higher data volume and quality, and thus reduces the effort of carrying out a study and reduces costs.

Combined with our Analysis-Software DataAnalyzer allows the simple calculation of parameters such as Heart Frequency, Heart Rate Variability, Activity Class, Steps, Energy Expenditure and Metabolic Equivalent of Task (MET).

EDAMove 4

As part of the new sensor generation, the EdaMove 4 takes the proven quality of the EdaMove 3 and incorporates the most sought after improvements from extensive discussions with researchers in the field.

The EdaMove 4 provides researchers with the most comprehensive tool for recording and analysing Electrodermal (Galvanic Skin Response) and physical activity. The sensor combines our world-class 4th generation accelerometer, a high-quality EDA sensor and a Bluetooth Smart interface that allows the sensor to interact with our Experience Sampling platform, movisensXS to trigger questionnaires based on changes in physiological parameters.

Capable of capturing up to 4 weeks of data, the EdaMove 4 allows researchers to isolate and understand emotional affect with greater clarity than before. A new electrode based attachment system ensures an efficient and durable connection, recording a high quality signal with minimal effort. In addition to the EDA signal that allows the calculation of secondary parameters like skin conductance level (SCL) and skin conductance responses (SCR), the sensor acquires the raw data of the 3D acceleration of a participant, thus also allowing the calculation of activity parameters such as activity intensity with the movisens DataAnalyzer.

The additional recording of angular rate, temperature and barometric air pressure enable the swift discovery of and isolation of many of the typical artefacts that plague EDA data captured by standard ambulatory measurement systems. The EdaMove 4 connects to a comfortable textile band worn on either the wrist or ankle, increasing participant comfort and compliance, and providing greater measurement quality for researchers.

The software – DataAnalyzer

The movisens DataAnalyzer processes raw sensor data to calculate physiological parameters with a selectable output interval in just a few clicks.

The DataAnalyzer extracts the selected parameters into .csv format, allowing researchers to delve deeper and process the data further in Excel or SPSS. For a big picture overview, our pdf reports provide a great summary of the key information extracted from the sensor in easy to read charts and tables.

The software package works with raw sensor data saved in the unisens format, and complements our range of physiological sensors (Move 4, EcgMove 4, LightMove 4, EdaMove 4). The DataAnalyzer also allows the batch processing of an entire study cohort, automatically displaying the available parameters based on the sensor type, and wear position.

As with our sensors, the DataAnalyzer is a one-off purchase with no renewal or subscription fees. Once you pay for it, you own it. It comes standard with algorithms that allow the calculation of physical parameters derived from the data gathered by the class leading accelerometers featured in all of our sensors.
