Monitoring
Rimed Digi-Lite Digital TCD
- High resolution with 64 gates per probe, making RIMED’S M-mode an optimized & time saving way to locate the specific blood vessel.
- Up to 8 Doppler spectrums taken at various depths can be simultaneously displayed together with M-Mode to give you a dynamic quick scanning of the artery at a touch of the screen.
- Real-time recording of examination can be fully replayed: spectrum + sound + M-Mode
The Digital Doppler Advantage
64 gates per probe - While the 2-channel option provides 128 gates.
Improved accuracy and reliability - Advanced digital technology is behind these Digi-Lite advantages:
- Most sensitive Doppler on the market
- Highest signal-to-noise (S/N) ratio
- Improved detection capabilities for detecting and counting small solid emboli, as well as larger air bubble emboli.
Advanced features
Working in a Windows XP environment, Digi-Lite offers advanced and powerful features:
- Enhanced analysis options - Storage of the Doppler raw data on hard disk, enables post-processing and analysis using advanced algorithms such as Wavelet, in addition to FFT.
- Full replay - Real-time recording of examination can be fully replayed spectrum + sound, with no need for 16-channel external DAT. Replay includes M-Mode.
- Dynamic display - Up to 8 spectrums at various depths are simultaneously displayed together with M-Mode display. Dynamic display options allow users to add, remove, and move displays at a touch of the screen.
- Powerful database
- Advanced storage - Doppler raw data - up to 16 gates, spectrum + sound + M-Mode - are stored per continuous or event-related recording.
- Sophisticated search functions - A wide range of customized parameters enable comprehensive patient follow-up per any clinical or historical data required. Unique data accessing functions, cross-referencing, comparative data and so on, offers a wide array of research parameter options.
Versatility A Range of Clinical Applications
In addition to its advantage as an intracranial/extracranial diagnostic system, Digi-Lite is an ideal tool for a range of applications and modes of operation:
- Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO) - The Digi-Lite advanced emboli detection platform enables accurate detection of PFO, using contrast agent injection, and in light of recent research associating PFO with stroke and migraine, can contribute to effective diagnosis of these conditions.
- tPA - Treatment of Stroke Patients Used in conjunction with thrombolysis therapy (tPA), Digi-Lite provides vital early detection of recanalization.
- Detection of Moving Emboli - The digital Doppler technology employs a proprietary Multi-Layer Emboli Detection Algorithm providing accurate detection and counting of moving emboli. Emboli detection algorithm is available for all the probes and study types.
- Cerebral Circulatory Arrest - Special innovative software enables Digi-Lite to accurately detect brain death.
- Ongoing Patient Monitoring - For a continuous-over-time mode of operation, advanced monitoring capabilities include:
- Unlimited number of predefined automatic or manual events and alarms
- Graphic display of clinical parameter trends alongside external channel input from other medical equipment
- Recording and replay of Doppler raw data along with external channel input, either continuously or event-related
The Most Advanced Patient Report Generator
Among the advanced features offered by Digi-Lite is powerful and user-friendly reporting backed by Microsoft’s Access database and based on Business Objects Crystal Report generator software.
Getting More from your M-Mode
As a digital TCD, Digi-Lite produces a powerful, high resolution M-Mode display, with Doppler signals displayed along the ultrasound beam at varying depths, as a function of time. Enhanced M-Mode for all the probes and study types means important advantages:
- Quicker insonation window, and blood vessel localization and identification
- More accurate
- Detection of blood flow at any specified depth
- Detection and counting of emboli
- Tracing of movement of emboli
In a 2-channel TCD, with 128 gates, 2 M-Mode displays appear.
