Mobil-O-Graph NG® with Pulse Wave Analysis
Studies show that the pressure measurement of the aorta using the standard method of blood pressure measurement, supplemented by the pulse wave analysis, is a more accurate method to determine a better prognosis of therapy and to control hypertension patients.
Pulse wave velocity analysis is also recommended by the European Society for Hypertension (ESH) for the following conditions:
- Isolated systolic hypertension
- Aortic insufficiency
- Hyperthyroidism
- Evaluation of anti-hypertensive therapy in relation to arterial elasticity
The Mobil-O-Graph 24hr ABPM now includes the ability to capture traditional 24 hour ABPM data together with the pulse wave analysis (PWA) of the subject. As the PWA is already integrated into the system, no additional hardware or software will be required.
The Mobil-O-Graph NG® ABPM presents an accurate diagnosis of hypertension, measurements of blood pressure and an analysis of the pulse wave. The pressure curve data is transferred wirelessly to the HMS CS Analysis software which produces an accurate assessment of both the patients BP management and total vascular condition
